This remuneration is collected on the various analog (blank video cassettes) and digital (recordable DVD, CDR, decoder-recorders with integrated hard disks, MP4 players, smartphones, tablets, etc.) media used for copying protected audiovisual works for personal use.
75% of the sums collected by PROCIREP are distributed among the holders of rights to works of French and European nationality, broadcast on French national channels, according to the copies made by individuals.
25% of these sums are, as required by law, allocated by a Cinema Commission and a Television Commission to Aid for Creation actions in the field of the development and production of works cinema and television.

Since 1994, PROCIREP teams have also ensured the operational management of the activities of ANGOA, the civil society of producers in charge of managing the rights to the full and simultaneous retransmission of certain TV programs on cable and similar networks, in cooperation with the 'AGICOA (association of producers based in Geneva, which notably represents American studios, and whose social purpose takes up that of ANGOA at the international level).
