Procirep is a collective rights management body, a civil society of film and television producers, which is responsible for defending and representing said producers and rights holders in the field of copyright and related rights . In application of articles L. 323-1 and following of the Intellectual Property Code (IPC), PROCIREP has adopted general policies of transparency and risk management, in particular with regard to personal data.
It is in this regulated framework that PROCIREP carries out its main mission of collecting and distributing to producers of cinematographic and audiovisual works the royalties it collects for them by virtue of its corporate purpose. Personal data is information allowing you to be identified, as a natural person, either directly (e.g. your surname, first name, etc.), or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier.
The PROCIREP ensures compliance with the regulations in force provided for by the General Data Protection Regulations of April 27, 2016 (GDPR), which entered into force on May 25, 2018, and the amended law of January 6, 1978, known as the “Data Protection Act”. In application of the regulations in force, it is recalled that any personal data made accessible on the PROCIREP website cannot be collected and processed without the prior written consent of the person concerned. In particular, it is absolutely forbidden to collect and use them, manually or automatically, in particular to send unsolicited advertising messages.
